Woodworker and maker with enginNerdy tendencies.

I was fortunate to grow up around people that make. Furniture, food, custom homes, crafts.

 

From a young age, I watched my dad, a master plumber, build just about anything that could be made from wood or metal. Given enough time, I'm positive he could build an entire house and most things in it, probably by himself if he had a third arm. His dad was a meticulous hobbyist furniture restorer in his retirement. I should also thank my mom's dad, a retired Airforce veteran who built custom homes and furniture. I was lucky to be surrounded by "makers" as a child.

I generally focus on small projects: cutting boards, knife blocks, and other implements of destruction (reference photo). Occasionally I'll tackle bigger projects like coffee tables, outdoor furniture, etc. I share most of my projects on my Instagram account linked below.
